Leslie Williams, PT, DPT
Leslie received her Physical Therapy degree with honors from the University of Delaware in 1989; in 2010 she completed her doctorate degree from Shenandoah University. Before starting her own practice, Leslie worked at Loudoun Hospital for 20 years in outpatient post-acute rehab and inpatient acute care. She is a well rounded orthopedic generalist, highly focused in assisting patients in recovering from illness, injury, or functional limitations by treating them with respect, compassion, and the highest level of evidence based clinical skills. Her approach to patient care starts with completing a thorough evaluation, and then partnering with her patients to set achievable goals and develop a treatment plan that comprehensively addresses the identified problems. Leslie’s vision is to build a business that enriches people’s lives by helping them achieve their functional goals, and enhances the community by encouraging healthy living. Leslie lives in Berryville with her husband and four boys. She enjoys spending time with family, leading youth group, sports, gardening and reading.
Sara Davis PTA, CSCS, PES, EMT
Sara entered the health and fitness industry in 1993 as an avenue to working with the geriatric population with whom she has always had a great affinity. After completing a dual degree in Biology and Psychology from George Mason University she obtained her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and is currently finishing her Athletic Training degree, also from George Mason University. Sara is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a certified EMT with John H. Enders Fire Company and Rescue Squad. Her interests span from working with youth in the prevention of sport injuries to helping seniors overcome physical limitations and remain active. Her vision is to build a business that provides compassionate and personalized care, encouraging and educating people of all ages into healthy lifestyles through increased physical fitness. Sara lives in Berryville with her husband and four children. She enjoys volunteering at church, exercising, sports, yard work, spending time with family and homeschooling.
Amy Sower, PT
A true Clarke County native, Amy graduated from Clarke County High School in 1985 and received her degree in Physical Therapy in 1989 from Medical College of Virginia. During her career she has worked with numerous populations in a variety of settings including: nine years in acute care and outpatient ortho/neuro with Winchester Medical Center, four years of home health care, and eight years of outpatient orthopedics. Amy brings a vast knowledge of advanced manual therapy skills to Berryville PT, having completed all of Richard Jackson’s nationally recognized courses. In addition to manual therapy and treating sacroiliac joint dysfunction (including pregnancy induced), Amy’s areas of interest include cervical, thoracic and rib mobilizations and spinal cord rehab. Amy lives in Frederick County with her husband and four children. She enjoys reading, being outdoors, church youth group, spending time with family and homeschooling.
Vicki Mainello, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Vicki received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree with honors from Northern Virginia Community College in 1996 and was awarded “Most Studious” by her class mates. Vicki spent 10 years with Loudoun Healthcare gaining experience in acute, outpatient, rehabilitation and nursing home physical therapy. Because of her excellent leadership skills, Vicki was promoted to Team Leader of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services.In 2004 Vicki earned her Wound Care Certification through the National Alliance of Wound Care and in 2005 her Advanced Wound Debridement Certificate. Additionally, Vicki’s education includes: soft tissue mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and Myofascial Release Technique, which she studied under John Barnes. Vicki lives in Berryville with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking, refurbishing furniture, gardening and reading.
Christina Rose, MPT
Growing up in New Jersey, Christina graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2001 with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. She has worked as a PT in lovely Virginia for the last for 9 years. Christina started her career in a skilled nursing facility later moving into acute care and hospital outpatient care allowing her to experience the full continuum of Physical Therapy. She has spent the majority of her career working in orthopedic outpatient clinics, which is her passion. Christina specializes in sport injuries, Kinesiotaping, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, and cervical, thoracic and rib mobilizations. She enjoys working with all individuals from youth sport injuries to fall risk reduction in geriatrics. Her goal is to pursue further education in Pilate and manual techniques to compliment her current treatments. Christina lives in Bluemont with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking and watching ice hockey.
Kristine MacDonnell, MPT, CLT
Kristine MacDonnell, a Minnesota native, received her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 1992. She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from The College of St Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota in 1996. Kristine earned her Certified Lymphedema Therapist designation in 2000 and used that knowledge and growing experience to establish a comprehensive Lymphedema Program while working at an outpatient clinic in New Hampshire. She is a member of the National Lymphedema Network and the Lymphology Association of Australia. In 2004 Kristine moved to Northern Virginia to be closer to her family and has been able to continue her professional growth in variety clinical settings before joining Berryville Physical Therapy. Kristine’s clinical skills are diversified, and she offers extensive experience with orthopedic and sports therapy, balance rehabilitation, CranioSacral therapy, Myofascial Release, and pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation. She has taken several continuing education courses in manual therapy including Maitland, Kaltenborn-Evjenth, John Barnes and The Upledger Institute. Her philosophy of care emphasizes patient education, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise with the ultimate goals of functional improvement and patient satisfaction across the life span. When not seeing patients, Kris enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at school, reading, and scrapbooking.
Adrienne Gallatin, LMT
Adrienne is a graduate of Shenandoah Valley School of Therapeutic Massage in Edinburg, Virginia, where she studied anatomy, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and myofascial release. She joins Berryville Physical Therapy and Wellness with an eagerness to learn the many specialties the field of massage has to offer. She is particularly interested in oncology, prenatal, hot stone, and trigger point massage. Prior to massage school, Adrienne graduated from Joe Blasco's Makeup Artistry School in Orlando, Florida, and was a make-up artist for Fox Sports, Nascar on Fox and ESPN. Adrienne grew up in Harrisonburg, Virginia, with both her parents and a younger brother. She is new to the town of Berryville, moving here to be closer to her fiance and his son. Adrienne loves boating, being on the water, and spending time with family and friends.
